WHO WE ARE GIVES US THE EDGE FOR CONSISTENT
Savory Construction was founded by Sir Reginald Savory in 1941 to provide homes of distinction in the post-World War II rebuilding era of the New Zealand economy.
In response to the growth of manufacturing from 1950 to 1980, the company moved into the commercial market with the construction of industrial, retail and office developments. Savory Joinery was formed in 1970 and Savory Commercial Interiors in 1983 to complement Savory Construction.
Not all construction companies are built equally
Our greatest asset is our people. Unlike a lot of companies in the construction industry, we have a stable, permanent work force to guarantee quality standards and manpower when it’s needed. A large number of our staff have been part of the team for many years. We think that speaks volumes about the stability and culture of our company.
Savory Group has a progressive apprenticeship training scheme to ensure high quality tradesmen are developed within. Leadership and open communication is widely encouraged, as is a positive attitude to problem solving.
Savory insists on high levels of quality control. Over the years, Savory Group companies have developed sound and
valuable working relationships with sub-contractors throughout the industry. These relationships are vital in a business that depends on reliable delivery of other building services to ensure our deadlines are met and exacting standards maintained.
Savory has completed a diverse range of construction projects and earned itself an enviable reputation for quality and reliability.
Design and build projects are our speciality. We can tailor any development to your most detailed and specialised needs.
Savory Commercial Interiors have a proven record of performance in creating interior fitouts for a wide range of projects.
Savory Joinery is well recognised for its ability to push the boundaries of design and material for all applications.
