Diocesan Performing Arts Auditorium

Savory Joinery were contracted by Aspec Construction to create and install a number of bespoke timber pieces for the Diocesan Performing Arts Auditorium including large curved walnut ceiling panels, 8 meter high walnut veneer lining around the stage and curved timber around the auditorium tiered seating.

A key element of the project, and a stand out feature, is the oak timber battens that curve around an impressive drum wall and curve up the stair balustrades. Guest bathrooms, a bar, kitchen and first floor changing rooms were also completed.
